ZodiacZen ("we", "us", or "our") operates zodiaczen.cc. This policy explains what we collect when you use the zodiac compatibility tool, daily horoscope, BaZi learning pages, and paid reading flows.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to run the site, create readings, and keep order records:
- Contact information — email address, and name when you provide it for a personal reading.
- Birth details — your birth date, optional birth time, birth sex field used only for Da Yun direction, and partner birth details for couple readings.
- Order data — offer, pair, checkout status, payment status, report access token, and delivery timestamps.
- Usage data — pages viewed, links clicked, compatibility submissions, device/browser details, and basic server logs.
- Payment data — processed by Stripe. We do not store raw card numbers.
- Cookies & local storage — used for report access, analytics, and basic preferences.
How We Use Your Information
- To generate Chinese zodiac and BaZi readings.
- To create checkout sessions, keep order records, and verify paid report access.
- To send transactional email such as report links, receipts, or support replies.
- To monitor errors, prevent abuse, and improve the site.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help run the site:
- Stripe for checkout and payment records.
- Email provider for transactional report and support email.
- Hosting, logging, and analytics providers for delivery, security, error logs, and aggregate usage measurement.
Data Retention
We keep order and report data for as long as needed to deliver the reading, support access recovery, prevent fraud, and meet tax or legal record requirements. Server logs are kept for a shorter operational window when possible. You may request deletion of your reading details by emailing hello@zodiaczen.cc.
Security
We use TLS, access controls, third-party checkout, and limited report-access tokens. No internet service can promise perfect security, but we avoid storing raw card details and keep sensitive reading data limited to what the report needs.
Your Rights
